Our Founders
Reveres was founded in 1987 by Ms. Mechel Ng and Mr. Bernard Ho.
Mechel received her education in the UK and graduated with a specialization in public health. She did her post-graduate qualification in Singapore specializing in industrial health and hygiene.
Upon her graduation, she spends one year working in the UK before she was recruited by the Singapore Public Service Commission. Mechel has work in the Singapore Public Service as a counselor and trainer for 8 years before joining the private sector. She joined a big multi-national company as an executive in the training and general affairs department. She was promoted to head the personnel department after a year’s service. In her last appointment, she was handling more than 2000 workers in the factory that she works. She has worked in the precision machining, stepper motor manufacturing, injection molding, and printer manufacturing before she left to set up Reveres Management Associates Pte Ltd with Bernard.
Mechel is a registered and certified employment intermediary (CEI-KAH) with the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Bernard graduated with a UK qualification in Marketing and Business Administration. He obtained his post-graduate qualification in Singapore majoring in Personnel Management and Business Administration.
Bernard has worked with both the local and multi-national companies. His experience covers the total spectrum of human resource management as a country and regional manager with responsibilities covering the Asia Pacific regions. He has handled and was responsible for a total workforce of more than 6,000 staff and workers in one of the groups of companies. He has experienced working in trading, shipbuilding and repairs, discrete semiconductor manufacturing, wafer manufacturing, precision tools and dies making, precision machining, auto-machining, injection molding, stepper motor manufacturing, transformer manufacturing, speakers manufacturing, impact, and thermal printers manufacturing industry.
Bernard has also worked in China for 2 years as a School Principal, Administrator, and trainer. He has lectured in general human resource management, training, and development, employee compensation, marketing, customer service among others.
Bernard is a trained and qualified vocational school principal in China (PRC) and is also a registered and certified employment intermediary (CEI-KAH) with the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM). He is consulted by many multi-national companies in Singapore, Malaysia, and China on matters related to recruitment, staffing, employees’ compensation, and training.
